The institute is also engaged in supporting the students to refine the necessary skills, attitudes and the aptitude towards the corporate placement process in the campus by the way of periodical competitive tests and group interaction exercises. All these efforts are pursued assiduously to identify the functional gaps between industrial necessity for skilled workers and the premier production growth of the country and its trainee's welfare.
The empowerment of the faculty has been the propelling force behind the high quality of learning experience at ITI. The Institute had tie ups with some industries. This collaboration greatly influenced the Institute approach to education. Gradually it emerged as a confluence of the best of Eastern and Western values. It was evident that to have a vision was not enough. Effective governance and quality education were seen as critical aspects.
